Hello, I’ve just recieved my Rebocap set and everything works perfectly BUT one tracker. I can’t figure out why. Here’s the problem : Magnetic fields are all good but on the right hand tracker they’re at +100 magnetic field difference. I tried calibration and all but I can’t get it to be normal. This cause the right hand to be turning in the wrong way even after I calibrate multiple time. Any solution ? Or maybe the tracker have a problem ?
Check whether the accelerometer of the sensor has one value stuck at 1.5;
under normal conditions, it should read 1.0 in the direction of Earth gravity.
Nope ! Everything here seems fine, I made it work after multiple calibrations and wearing it upside down so the hand could be turning correctly but that’s weird, also it doesn’t work anymore today. I don’t know what to do especially for the magnetic field part stuck at +120uT whatever I do. I assume there is a manufacturing defect on this tracker :((
When doing the magnetic field calibration,
do you place the charging case on the table, or stand and rotate it while holding it at waist height?
I’ve noticed a lot of guys rotate the case on table ,
without realizing the metal beam underneath can mess up the magnetic field readings.
Finishing the magnetic calibration, carry the case around, flip it in different directions, and check if the magnetic field values shown by the sensor stay consistent.
Hello ! Yes I’ve done this multiple time to try to fix it, and away from metallic stuff :(( and that one censor is still at +100 uT for whatever reason
