The following three items are required according to the document.
①Mark that must be affixed to Specified Electrical Appliances and Materials
②Name of the registered conformity assessment body that conducted conformity assessment or its abbreviation
③Name of the notifying supplier
It seems that ③ is not written on the power supply that comes with Rebocap.
Also, I searched for the power supply model number GQ24-120200-DJ in the TÜV SÜD certificate explorer, but it didn’t come up in the search results. https://www.tuvsud.com/en/services/product-certification/ps-cert
Has the power supply been properly inspected?
Here is a picture of the power supply that arrived with rebocap.
The power adapter of our product uses the power adapter provided by a regular manufacturer. If you use our power adapter and compare it with others, the heat generated by our power adapter is usually lower than that of other 12V2A power adapters.
We confirm that the power adapter has been PSE certified. However, since the importer registration cannot be provided at present, there is no corresponding company name on the device silk screen, so you can use it with confidence.
The local importer registration in Japan is still being processed.
As for the product model, we consulted the manufacturer (Dongguan Gangqi Group Co., Ltd.). The PSE certification does not include the product model. The product model is named by the manufacturer itself: GQ is the manufacturer’s abbreviation, 120200 is the voltage and current, and DJ is named according to the shape of the shell.
I have checked the certificate. Thank you.
I hope that the supplier’s name will be added to the power supply soon so that it will comply with the standards.
I purchased Rebocap sold on Amazon Japan and received it today.
The issue with the PSE mark that I asked about before seemed to have been resolved, but that was not the case.
The name of the Chinese company is written on the AC adapter. The name of the Japanese importer should be written on the PSE mark. I don’t think the PSE mark is written correctly.
Where is the importer in Japan? I think the name of the importer’s company needs to be written along with the PSE mark.
Regarding this matter, we consulted with the power adapter manufacturer, and they mentioned that only the certification body needs to be provided. If it refers to the METI-registered importer, it might indeed be missing. From the information we previously gathered from Amazon about what needs to be included on the nameplate, it mainly mentioned the institution name, supplier name, rated voltage, etc. If the METI-registered name must be included on the nameplate, we will request the factory to complete this process.
It is not enough to only list the certification body.
I hope that the information will be corrected to the registered importer as soon as possible. When it is corrected, please report it on this thread or on the official X account.
Thank you for your careful review. We will confirm and address the relevant matters as soon as possible! I will leave updates on this topic if there is any new progress.
